Bluebird Landscapes has grown from just one work vehicle and one part-time employee to a team of more than ten. We work together in teams to take great care of our clients!

We pride ourselves on cheerful, skilled work, strong plant knowledge, and on building long term relationships with our clients and their gardens. Every garden is as unique as its owner, and we strive to honor this individuality as we customize our services to every client.

Avery Ellis, Owner

Avery Ellis is a passionate horticulturist who has dedicated her career to excellence in gardening and plant care. After earning her Bachelors in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia in 2014, Avery worked at Monticello's historic Tufton Farm, followed by five years gardening on properties in and around Charlottesville, before launching Bluebird Landscapes in 2021. She endeavors each day to bring joy to her clients in their outdoor spaces!
